He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mason and Elizabeth Mason (Oehme); and his son Jeffery L. Jackson. He is survived by: his wife June M. Jackson (Arner); his children, Corey Mason (Jamie) of Mulberry, KS and Julie Engle (Mark) of Frontenac, KS; his grandchildren, Dustin Engle (Jessica), Marlie Brown (Jordan), Dayton Engle (Gladys), McCarly Neil (Justin), McCade Mason (Caitlin), Nicholas and Nathan Herrelson; and his great grandchildren, Rip, Haze Mason, Kyler, Emmi, Ally, Lily, Koby Brown and Myla Neil.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home & Crematory - Pittsburg (522 S Broadway St, Pittsburg, KS 66762). Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (109 E 9th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762-4043).
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Fund; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
