He was predeceased by: his wife Deloras "Sis" James; his brothers, Doyle (Joyce James), Francis (Lora Ellen James), Bill James and Virgil Dewayne James; his grandson Clint James; and his daughter-in-law Kay Ann James.
He is survived by: his children, Jesse James of Katy, TX, Mike James (Bonnie) of Tyro, KS and Sandy Brant (Lane) of Pittsburg, KS. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
