With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melva Lorene Wilbert of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Munroe and Opal Marie Beasley (Houk); and her sister Betty Benskin. She is survived by: her children, Wendi Piccini (Randy) of Pittsburg, J. D. Wilbert of Pittsburg, Jill Whitworth (Charlie) of Burlington, KS and Matt Wilbert (Leah) of Pittsburg; her brother Bill Beasley of Wichita, KS; and her grandchildren, Randi Krier, V. J. Piccini, Dominic Piccini, Aubri Dellasega, Emery Wilbert, Weston Wilbert, Barrett Wilbert, Cooper Whitworth, Tucker Whitworth, Karlie Whitworth, Madilynn Maple, Layne Maple, Gillian Wilbert and Mathias Wilbert. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Fund.
