She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hanis and Genevieve Hanis (Andrews); and her husband Bill Riney. She is survived by: her brother Bob Hanis (Sandy) of Portland, OR; her daughters, Kristy McKechnie of Arcadia, KS and Tracy Connealy (Chuck) of Leawood, KS; her grandchildren, Austin, Jackson McKechnie, Joel, Carly and Nathan Connealy; her stepdaughters, Laura Henness (Dave) and Suzanne Ahearn (Jim); and her grandchildren, William Henness, Margaret and Patrick Ahearn. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic charities in honor of Mary Jane Riney.
