We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2024, at the age of 78, Kenneth Ray Cattaneo of Pittsburg, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Allen and Josephine Cattaneo (Prete); and his daughter-in-law Samantha Cattaneo. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Cattaneo of Pittsburg, KS; his children, Peter K. Cattaneo of Pittsburg, KS and Tess E. Carl (Todd) of Frontenac, KS; his brother Dr Ernest A Cattaneo of Overland Park, KS; and his grandsons, Gabriel Carl of Wichita, KS and Jonah Carl of Frontenac, KS.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials to Harry Hynes Hospice and/or PSU Printing Graphics Scholarship Fund.

“From Jesus J and Elouise Rodriguez Our condolences on the passing of Ken Cattaneo, as former head of the Department of Printing at PSU I got to know Ken as an avid supporter of our program and a dedicated promoter of the printing industry as his chosen profession as a result of the education he received at PSU. He worked with us in promoting our program and was friends to the faculty. We got to meet up at several cross country meets as our kids were growing up. Rest in peace.”
