He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Ruth Johnson (Plumlee); his wife Darlene D. Cabodie; and his siblings, Rex, Babe Johnson, Lue Brecht, Helen Lamb and Barbara Brecht.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Spurling (Terry) of Pittsburg, KS and Michelle Johnson (John) of Frontenac, KS; and his grandchildren, Ethan Spurling (Andrea), Eli Spurling, Ty Spurling and Tabor Smalley (Gwen).
The family suggests memorials to the SEK Humane Society.
