He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Leroy Vollen and Stella Jamison Vollen; and his siblings, Harry Vollen and Gail Winne. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hunt Vollen; his children, Katherine Louise Vollen of Alexandria, Virginia and Guy James Vollen (Laura); his grandchildren, Margaret Rose Vollen of Wichita, Kansas and Robert Gene Vollen of Wichita, Kansas; his sister Norma Jane Johnson of Evart, Michigan; and his brother-in-law James David Hunt (Edith Langley) of Leicester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
