He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dobbins and Mavis Gofourth; his parents-in-law, J. A. "Art" Berry and Helen Berry; and his brother-in-law Danny Gus Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Pamela Garland, Rebecca Dobbins and Mark Dobbins (Amy); his siblings, Dean Dobbins (Angie), Norma White and Dixie Slamans (Robert); his siblings-in-law, Earl Berry, Jerry Berry (Beverly) and Paula Berry; his grandchildren, Breanna Shine (Avery), Korey Garland (Chelsey), Connor Dobbins and Graham Dobbins; and his great grandchildren, Londynn Shine, Locklynn Shine, Brooke Ewy and Quinn Garland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
