It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Walker of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Merciez (Buset) and Mike Merciez; her husband Dempsey L. Walker; her son Michael Walker; her daughter-in-law Jane Walker; her brother Louis Merciez; and her sister-in-law Sharon Merciez.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Marietta (Jake) of Pittsburg; her grandchildren, Michael Marietta (Jenelle) of Pittsburg, Jacob Marietta (Aubrey) of Andover, Anna Sweaney (Jeremy) of Pittsburg, Lindsey Walker (Jason Townsend) of Goddard and Lauren Walker of Manhattan; her great grandchildren, Madison, Kash and Banks Marietta; and her grandchildren, Lilly, Olivia, Vincent Marietta, William, Lennox, Ashton and Ariebella Lucille Sweaney.
