He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Smail and Vivian Smail (Porter); and his sister Marilyn Hahn. He is survived by: his spouse Jenifer Westerman; his siblings, Kay, John and Ron; his children, Ryan Smail (Jennifer), Erica Carlisle (Darin) and Lindsey Rudder (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Gabriel, Levi, Adam, Lydia, Seth, Adeline, Tucker, Logan, Cora, Grace, Emma, Violet and Isaac. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service (1883 US-54, Iola, KS 66749). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 1368 Xylan Rd, Piqua, KS 66761.
Memorials are suggested to the Friends for Life cancer support organization, or St. Martin's Cemetery Fund, and can be left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
