She was predeceased by: her husband Earl; her parents, Fred Rogers and Mayme Rogers (Stones); her sister Norma Sink (Rogers); her daughter-in-law Judy Dechant (Milton); and her grandson Matthew Dechant.
She is survived by: her close friend Sharon Rorabaugh (Rollins); her sons, David (Kathy), Stephen of Treasure Island, FL and Thomas of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Layce (Scott Fillner) of Marion, IA, Brooks Dechant (Andrea) of Marion, IA, Drew Dechant (Jennifer) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Shanon (Jake Lappe) of Marion, IA, Kelsey (John Russell) of Durham, NC and Jake Dechant of Lakeland, FL; and her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Emery, Karson Fillner of Marion, IA, Drake, Decker Dechant of Marion, IA, Avery, Chloe, Owen Dechant of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kyler, Bailey and Brantlee Lappe of Marion, IA..
