He was predeceased by: his stepfather Marcelle Jr.; his brother Delton Watson; and also, Lucian Jr. and Hawkins, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Dean, Rachel Dean, Melissa Dean, Kimberly Dean, Melanie Victor (Kerry Moore) of Kentucky, Melissa Victor (Darrin Evans) of Kentucky, Rachel Victor (Preston Filipek) of Wisconsin, Kimberly Victor (Justin Pratt) of Oregon and Mel Dean Victor of California. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as one niece and nephew.
