She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alma Wagner, Minnie Ehm, Anna Martens, Lillie Grote, Martha Krafft and Michael Preuss.
She is survived by: her spouse Ehrhart Merklein; her daughters, Jolene Posson (Bill) of Stuttgart and Jane Kirchhoff (Anthony) of Stuttgart; her grandchildren, Alyssa Stites (Travis), Phillipsburg and Colin Kirchhoff (Alissa); her great grandchildren, Bella, Briley and Bryson Stites; and her sister-in-law Verna Huiting.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church or Prairie Wind Villa.
