He was predeceased by: his mother Gloria Babcock (Bushnell); and his brother Gordon Eugene Babcock. He is survived by: his father Donald Babcock of Phillipsburg, Kansas; his son Grant Wesley Babcock (Megan) of Littleton, Colorado; his wife Kim Diane Babcock (Newlin) of Phillipsburg; his daughters, Megan Irvine (Brian) of Littleton and Melissa DeWitt (Randy) of Manhattan; his sister Donita Pemberton (Jim) of Russell, Kansas; his sister-in-law Kay Newlin of Grand Island, Nebraska; his nephews, Barrett Babcock, Jared Pemberton, Jordan Pemberton of Russell, Kansas and Chuck Sanson of Kearney, Nebraska; his niece Mandy Karr of Aurora, Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Eli, Ruby, Tucker Irvine of Littleton, Finn, Hadley DeWitt of Manhattan, Wesley and Ben Babcock of Littleton, Colorado. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and first cousins, along with countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the GB (Greg Babcock) memorial scholarship in care of the Phillips County Community Foundation for future PHS graduates pursuing trade school and may be sent to the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, PO Box 563, Phillipsburg, KS 67661.
