He was predeceased by: his son Gill E. Atchison Jr. (Eddie); his parents, Gill C. Atchison and Hazel Atchison (Moore); his in-laws, Oscar and Elizabeth Ross; his brother Darrell D. (Pat Atchison); and his pet Scooby.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Ross; his children, Greg Atchison (Laura) and Corrina Bazinet (Mark Bazinet) of Lenexa, KS; his daughter-in-law Kathy Atchison of Loveland, CO.; his grandchildren, Thumper (Brenden Atchison), Snapper (Dalton Sprague), Squeaky and Scooter (Cody Sprague); and his pet Skipper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
