He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel Webster Short and Zoe Bell Short (Allen); his great-grandparents, Daniel Webster Thomas, James Short and James Allen; his wife Carol Jolene Hintz; his siblings, Nadine Shamlin, Dorothy Juras, Mary Ellen Short, Don Short and Max Short; his nieces, Donna Roberts and Tracy Short; his nephew Dennis Short; his sons, Rodger (Beth) and David (Mary) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Jarrod (Amanda) of Evans, Kellie (Matt) of Torrington and Justin; and his nephews, Greg and Kim Short of Cheyenne, Wyoming.. He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
