Charles Rader Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024, at the age of 88, Charles Rader (Phillipsburg, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bertha (Purdy) and Charlie Atherton; and his parents, Lloyd Rader and Zelma Rader (Atherton). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Steele; his son Chris (Priscilla Rader) of Salina, KS; his siblings-in-law, Peggy (Ken Hiatt) of Pagosa Springs, CO, Kathy Steinke of Olpe, KS and Terry Steele of Denison, TX; his stepchildren, Jamie Roth of Phillipsburg, KS, Jenny Nichols of Holdredge, NE and Joe Lour of Grand Island, NE.; his sister Glenda; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Mary Steele. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
To keep his memory alive, memorials may be made to the Harlan HIstorical Society located in the old Harlan Church and/or NWKareS, the hospice service that cared for Chuck during his final days.
