It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Murphy (Phillipsburg, Kansas), born in Morrison, Colorado, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph G. Friendly and O. Grace Friendly (Eavis); and her husband Billy D. Murphy (Bill). She is survived by: her children, Diana Hanchett (Blaine) of Phillipsburg, Renee Goodwin (Kevin) of New Hampshire, Ronald Murphy and Rodney Murphy (Janice) of Colorado; her grandchildren, Michelle Brown (Marvin Fehlman) of Phillipsburg, Michael Johnson (Isabelle) of Texas, Taylor Murphy of Colorado, Trevor Goodwin (Tobi Robinault) of New Hampshire, Elise Smith (Ben) of New Hampshire, Ainsley Goodwin of New Hampshire and Madalyn Goodwin of New Hampshire; her great grandchildren, Caysha Toepher (Seth) of Texas, Brody Johnson of Texas, Gavin Johnson of Texas, Brandon Barwick (Amber) and Blake Barwick (Carissa) of Nebraska; her great great grandchild Henry Barwick of Nebraska; her stepgreat-grandsons, Ricky and Ian Brentson; and her brother Richard Friendly (Ann) of Kansas. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
