She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Madison and Elsie Irene Brod Green; her husband Carl "Mike" Evans; her daughters, Dee Robb (Vernon) of Perry and Leeta Ellis (Lee) of Perry; and her brothers, Garland Green and Lyle Green. She was also cherished by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
