As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alice Mae may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Malery and Maude Ruth Corliss Luther; her husband John Newport; and her son Terry Newport. She is survived by: her children, Machell Biggs (Rick) of Perry, KS, Michael Newport (Charlotte) of West Plains, MO and Timothy Newport of Topeka, KS; and her brother Harold Luther of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
