He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Summers and Ecil Summers (Finch); his brother Bobbie Summers; and his son-in-law Scott Bowman. He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Francis and Vesta Cox; his wife Bev; his children, Tara Bowman of Topeka, KS, William "Andy" Summers of Quinter, KS, Lonna Summers Rocha (Justin) of Elmont, KS, Treva Summers of Topeka, KS, Lonnie Summers (Lee) of Whitewater, KS and Dixie Taylor (Jack) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; his sister-in-law Connie Summers; and his grandchildren, Tim, Mariah, Kei Bowman and Annika Rocha. He is also survived by his in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
