He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frans and Fern Frans (Palmer); and his siblings, Joyce Frans, Bill and Terry Frans.
He is survived by: his child Anya Frans (Nick Ryan) of Boulder, CO; his siblings, Bernadine Obermeyer (Bernie) of Eureka, KS and Myron Frans (Susan Segal) of Minneapolis, MN; and his former wife Judith Frans.
