He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Ray and Rose Marie Spangler Grosse; and his brother Robert Grosse (Bob). He is survived by: his siblings, Harvey L. Grosse of Peabody and Peggy Penner of Newton. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Peabody Christian Church and Peabody American Legion.
