He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Torres and Manuela Melendez Torres; his wife Theresa Maria Segovia; his daughter Auggie Cramer; and his siblings, Felix Torres, Esther Monares, Carmen Vega, Lupe Llamas, Augustina and Refugio Torres.

He is survived by: his children, Patsy Torres Milton and Michael Torres of Topeka; his grandchildren, Micah, Gabriel Torres, Jonathan, Theresa and Christopher Milton; his siblings, Robert Torres (Belen) of Colorado Springs, Colo., Margaret Garcia of Newton and Jennie Garcia (Ralph) of Newton; and his son-in-law Larry Cramer of Topeka. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with the Peabody Community Foundation, Peabody American Legion, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
