She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ackerman and Louise Ackerman (Bauerle); her husband Arthur Gehrt; and her siblings, Twila Johnson, Wilma Jean Thompson and George Ackerman.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Heigert (Tom); her grandchildren, Michelle Stuhlsatz (David), Lisa Boetel (Kieth), Lori Dickman, Anthony Heigert (Amber) and Michael Heigert (Heather); and her siblings, Julia Jackson (Joe) and Robert Ackerman (Alma). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
They suggest memorial contributions to Midland Hospice House or Trinity Lutheran Church, and those may be sent in care of the funeral home.
