We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2024, at the age of 87, William Edward Roten of Parsons, Kansas, born in Columbus, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Roten and Bessie Roten; and his brother-in-law Audie Hugh Shearer. He is survived by: his son David Roten (Carisa) of Independence, KS; his siblings, Paulinia Shearer of Columbus, KS and Albert Roten (Jean) of Ft. Worth, Texas; and his grandchildren, Ethan Roten and Ashlyn Roten. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
