He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Attebery and Mary Attebery (Plumer); his grandson Alec Tillman; and his grandparents, Paul and Thelma Attebery.

He is survived by: his wife Marcella "Sally" Attebery; and his children, Josette Bell (Kelly), Charolette Willis (Thad), Shannon Tillman, Heather Haskew (Michael) and Paul A. Attebery.
