Norma L. (Schoenhofer) Carson Obituary
In loving memory of Norma L. (Schoenhofer) Carson (Parsons, Kansas), who departed this world on December 29, 2024 at the age of 93. Norma L. leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Michael and Catherine Mae Schoenhofer (Thomas); her husband Bill J. Carson; her son Bill M. Carson (Linda) of South Mound; and her siblings, Eileen Barnes, Kathleen McGowen, Irene Smith, Madonna Amos, Rita Lockwood, Gerald "Jerry" Schoenhofer, Veneta Lowe, Verl Albert Schoenhofer, Ruth Wehlage, Bernice King, Mary Jo Maher and Rose Agnes Schoenhofer.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Carson (Susie) of Altamont, Ed Carson of Parsons and Linda Carson of Oswego; and her brothers, Kenneth Schoenhofer (Jolene) of Erie and Robert "Bob" Schoenhofer (Virginia) of St. Paul. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a handful of great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A rosary was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home (112 N 26th St, Parsons, KS 67357). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Mother of God Catholic Church in Oswego.
