She was predeceased by: her parents, Lurie Garland and Leota Bolander (Slane); her brother Joe Bolander; and her granddaughter Chenelle Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Kent Kugler of Joplin, Pat Thompson of Oswego, Kathy Duff (Greg) of Thayer and Kim Wills (Ryan) of Columbus, Nebraska; her siblings, Jim Bolander (Ineke) of Belmont, John Bolander (Linda) of Parsons, Jerry Bolander (Tandy) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Martha Merrill (John) of Newnan, Linda Darkis (Jimmie) of Parsons and Carol Moore (Noel) of Coffeyville, Kansas; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Bolander of Ft. Collins, Colorado.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
