She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edwin and Bessie Mae Leatherman (Herndon); her stepfather Wallace Ikehorn; her brothers, Frank Leatherman and Robert Leatherman; her mother-in-law Shirley Chaney; and her nephew Justin Hughes.
She is survived by: her former spouse Byron Rees; her husband Randy Chaney; her daughters, Shawna Delcour (Nickolas) of Webb City, MO, Amber Rees of Parsons, KS and Mary Beth Rees-Schaible of Springfield, OR; her grandchildren, Jericah and John Schaible of Springfield, OR; her son-in-law Jeremiah Schaible of Parsons, KS; her brothers, James Brent Leatherman (Brenda) of Parsons, KS and Tim Peterson (Gale) of Spring City, TN; her stepbrothers, Chuck Ikehorn of Humboldt, KS and Brian Ikehorn of Humboldt, KS; and her siblings-in-law, Rick Chaney (Paula) of Parsons, KS, Tina Beery (Derek) of Columbus, KS, Lisa Chaney of Parsons, KS and Kathy Leatherman of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
