He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Elver and Martha Swender (Kennedy) of Virginia; his wife Mary Lovesta Swender (Parrish); his children, Kelly Bedore (Todd) of Parsons, Kimberly Swender of Hutchinson, Cindy Bogner (Mike) of Parsons, Teresa Higgins of Neodesha, Linda Yau (Frank) of Kansas City and Jerry Miers of Kansas City; and his grandchild Twenty.
