Joy Wolgamott Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Wolgamott of Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on August 17, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Schmid and Sarah Schmid (Amerine); her children, Gary Lee Wolgamott (Lovina) of Pittsburg, Billy Wayne Wolgamott (Connie) of Parsons, Jimmy Dale Wolgamott (Bobbie) of Durant, Sharon Marie Wolgamott of Parsons, Judy Ann Nance (Robert) of Parsons, Elizabeth Minnie Jackett (Doug) of Chanute and Eighteen of Kansas; her grandchild Fourteen; her siblings, Vernon Schmid of North East and Barbara Schmid of Parsons, Kansas.; her husband Billy Wolgamott, Sr.; and her sisters, Juanita Hallman and Marge Baumdecker. She was also cherished by Fourteen great-grandchildren.

For all events, social distancing guidelines will be followed, including the requirement of face masks.
