It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John S. Spears of Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan O. Spears and Madge M. Spears (Lone); his son John S. Spears, Jr.; and his brother Jerry L. Spears. He is survived by: his son Joseph A. Spears (Roxane) of Kearney, MO; his grandchildren, Miranda Rash (Joe) of Smithville, MO, Michelle Pulliam (Alex) of Kansas City, MO and Nathan Spears of Kearney, MO; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Rash and Kaiden Pulliam; his granddaughter Lily McGuire; his pets, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse; and also, Michael McGuire (Lorie) of Erie, KS and Jason McGuire (Cheynet) of Toganoxie, KS.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home (112 N 26th St, Parsons, KS 67357). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Parsons Animal Lovers Society (PALS).
