Jo A. Mattox Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo A. Mattox of Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lester and Adeline Maude Turner (Smith); her children, Michael "Mike" Mattox and Tonya Harrington; and her brothers, Paul Turner and Charles "Chuck" Turner.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Hance (Jimmy Bowin) of Parsons, Kansas; her grandchildren, Justin Pizzo of Parsons, Kansas, Kristen Mattox of Parsons, Kansas and Blake Hance of Parsons, Kansas; her great grandchildren, Kamdyn and Kestyn; and her brother Michael Turner (Barbara) of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home (405 Main St, Parsons, KS 67357). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Springhill Cemetery (20500 Pratt Rd, Parsons, KS 67357).
