She was predeceased by: her parents, Meade T. Smith and Helen Smith (Emert). She is survived by: her husband Mike Carson; her sons, Brian Carson (Donya Columbus), Scott Carson (Tiffany Iola) and Tim Carson (Autumn Pittsburg); her grandchildren, River, Aspen, Chandler, Tristan, Ellie, Landon, Cortland, Grace, Gavin and Jackson; her great grandchildren, Jace and Maya; and her brother Meade.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Patrick's Church, Neosho Township Fire Department, Fredonia Education Foundation, or to St. Mary's- Colgan endowment fund.
