He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph V. Hofer, Sr. and Marguerite A. Hofer (Beachner); and his siblings, Joe Hofer, Mary Clarkin, Bill Hofer and Ray Hofer.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Clara Hofer (Smith); his children, LaDonna Haley of McAllen, Mary DeGraffenreid (Ron) of Wichita, Charlotte Hofer of Walnut, Christopher Hofer (Nancy) of Girard, Bernadette Myers (Currie) of Mission, Marta Bolinger (Mark) of Pittsburg, Michael Hofer (Lori) of Torrington, Rita Moss (Matt) of Olathe, Kenneth and D. C. Twenty of Kansas City; and his grandchild Forty. He is also survived by ten children.
For all events, social distancing guidelines will be followed, including the requirement of face masks.
