He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Swafford and Edith Swafford; his siblings, Raymond "Ray" Swafford and Marsha Rodriguez; his brother-in-law Eliseo "Lee" Rodriguez; his nephew James Rodriguez; his great-niece Laci Swigart; and his great-nephew Donovahn Rasmussen.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Swafford II (Jessica) of Parsons, Kelley Hull (Branden) of Carthage and Edie Day (Jordan) of Altamont; his brother Mark Swafford (Mia) of Parsons; and his grandchildren, Madisen Hull, Landan Swafford, Erica Hull, Kaylee Swafford, Kaytlenn Swafford, Jordan Hull, Brooklenn Swafford, Dathon Day and Zadock Day As. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.
