He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Newberry and Hazel Newberry (Culbertson); and his siblings, Calvin Newberry, Carolyn Baker and Gloria Newberry.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Darren Newberry (Trisha Norris) of St. Paul and Chad Newberry (Kim) of St. Paul Six; his grandchildren, Tressa Beezley (Zach), Josh Newberry, Garrett Newberry, Kayla Treiber (Dylan), Carly O'Brien (Jason) and Clay Newberry; his great grandchildren, Briggs, Breckyn Beezley, Cassie, Payton Treiber and Owen O'Brien; and his sisters, Darlene Jeffrey (Dale) of Erie and Bernie Johnston (Jeff) of Bartlett.
