He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, A. O. Brown and Helen Brown; his wife Mary Catherine; his children, Cotter Brown of Blue Springs, MO, Nicole Gill (Dan) of Pittsburg, KS and Allison Brown of Moab, UT.; his grandchildren, Isaac, Aaron, Melia Cook, Marley, Zane and Piper Brown; his great grandchild Ryder Cook; and his brothers, A. O. Brown (Donna) of Mulberry, KS and Eldon Brown.
Together the couple served as Honorary Chairs of the LCC Foundation Pathways to the Future Capital Campaign Steering Committee.
