It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn K. Steenrod of Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. "Pete" Moore and Mary Katherine Moore (Johnston); her stepfather Sherman Collins; and her brothers, Jim Moore and Sherman Collins Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Steenrod of Parsons, Christopher Steenrod (Penny) of Norfolk, VA, Kathy Lousch (Jack) of Wamego, KS and Tracy Weaver (Buddy) of Republic, MO; her grandchildren, Samantha Young (Wayne), Maddison Matthews (Denton), Maranda Haile, Kelsey Haile, Keenan Lousch (Kelsey), Madi Harbort (Zach), Jacey Dickerson (Ben), Kaylee Weaver, Emily Weaver, Miranda Kurtz (Scott) and Porter Steenrod; her great grandchildren, Eli, Montana, Kasey, Margo, Juni and Aspen; and her brother Bill Collins (Janet) of Parsons.
