He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Kerr and Lillian Kerr (Troth); his sister Katherine Dick; and his son Wesley. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Hosier; his children, John of Lawrence, Kansas, Brenda of Florida, Kevin (Jennifer) of Lawrence and Brett of California; and his siblings, Charles (Debbie) of Iola, James of Garnett, Roger (Kim) of Osawatomie, Kansas, Judy Grantham (Bob) of Moore and Carol Brownell (David) of Beeville, Texas.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Beagle United Methodist Church and left in care of the funeral home.
