With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linus Waldman of Park, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Linus left this world on March 12, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pius Waldman and Anna Waldman (Loevenstein); his siblings, Pius D. Waldman, Lorena Burgardt, Delores Zimmerman and Mary Waldman; and his brothers-in-law, Don Burgardt, Ed Zimmerman and Larry Bechard.
He is survived by: his wife Antonia Waldman (Zerr) of Iola, Kansas; his daughters, Susan Waldman (Mike) of Iola and Lorie McMahon (Mark) of Valencia, California; his grandsons, Andrew Waldman of Lawrence, Jeremy Waldman of Tampa and Braden McMahon of Valencia, California; and his siblings, Delbert Waldman (Ethel) of Commerce City, Colorado and Irene Bechard of Scottsdale, Arizona. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schmitt Funeral Home - Quinter (901 Main St, Quinter, KS 67752). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (202 Cottonwood St, Park, KS 67751). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund and sent to Schmitt Funeral Home, 336 N. 12th St., WaKeeney, Kansas, 67672.
