She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ray Walker and Daphna Eva Walker (Mitchell); her daughter Deborah Gail Scannapieco; and her siblings, Darrill Ray (Carol), Jimmie Don, Larry Wayne (Janice), Ernest Gene and Sharon Gail.
She is survived by: her children, Sonya R. Hansell and Thomas A. Akers of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Steven M Jr. Hansell (Jesse) of Fishers, IN, Shere'V Clark (Christopher) of Newton, IN, Nicholas A. Scannapieco (Taylor) of Orlando, FL., Alexander J. Scannapieco of Colorado Springs, CO. and Lauren M. Akers of Kechi, KS; her great grandchildren, Norah M Hansell and Roslyn M Hansell; and her sister Brenda Cummings of Valley Center, KS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
