It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Earl Rayne (Paola, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Rayne (Moffitt) of Topeka, KS and Tom Rayne (Payen) of England; and his wife Mae Jean Rayne (Hoopengardner) of Paola, KS. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Sal Penza; his children, John Rayne (Mary Beth), Patrick Rayne (Kelly) and Mary Pickert (Keith); his grandchildren, Kevin Rayne, Elizabeth Rayne, Adam Rayne (Jayme), Spencer Rayne, Emilie Idzior (David), Nathan Pickert (Melissa), Douglas Pickert (Danielle), Melanie Moore (Gregory) and Brandon Pickert; and his great grandchildren, Kinsley Rayne, Lincoln Rayne, Maloree Rayne, Mollie Rayne, Jay Enfield, Blaize Idzior, Kateri Idzior, Xavier Idzior, Sabine Idzior and Joseph Pickert.
