With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley S. Subelka (Paola, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on August 22, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex S. Subelka and Catherine Subelka (Dumesik); his wife Pauline Curry; his daughters, Genevieve M. Smith and Rosemarie E. McNames; his great grandchildren, Caleb Davis and Maverick Smith; his stepdaughter Jacqueline Bartholomew; and his siblings, Joseph, Frank Subelka and Mary Lou Hoover.
He is survived by: his former wife Constance "Connie" Turner; his daughters, Anne C. Coe of Paola, KS, Joan T. Subelka of Kansas City, KS and Diane M. Herron (Brian) of Kansas City, KS; his stepdaughters, Carol Perigo of Broken Arrow, OK and Myra Brown of Broken Arrow, OK; and his siblings, Larry Subelka of Shawnee, KS, Joanne Higbee (Jimmie) of Kansas City, KS, Kathleen Renczarski of Smithville, MO, Teresa Nuccio (John) of Park Ridge, IL, Christine Marks (Bill) of Strongsville, OH and Elizabeth Rebeck (George) of Basehor, KS. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 5 step- grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
