He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Prothe; his brother Scott Prothe; and his father-in-law Keith Cree. He is survived by: his children, Erin Durso-Johnson (Josh), Whitney Petersen (Presten) and Tanner Prothe; his parents, Roger Prothe and Clarene Prothe; his sister LeAnne Larsen (Jeff); his mother-in-law Elsie Cree; his sisters-in-law, Kelly Prothe and Jody Penn (Bob); and his grandchildren, Katelyn, Madison, Olivia, Donovan and Walker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
