Ron Mendel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ron Mendel of Paola, Kansas, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Mendel (Jack) and Alta Mendel (Clearwater); his wife Preceding; his brothers, Cliff and Kenneth; his sons, Jeff and Mike; his grandson Derry Flaherty; his great grandchild Jordan Flaherty; and his parents-in-law, Emmett and Julia Murphy.
He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Murphy; his children, Jim Mendel (Dee Anne) and Paula Flaherty (Terry); his close friend Paulette Bennett; his sister Joan Cornett (Delbert); his siblings-in-law, Linda Stewart (Larry) and Rodger Murphy (Cathy); his grandchildren, Ronnie Flaherty (Dannae), Bryant Mendel, Katie Gatlin and Jimmy Daniels; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Serinity, Carolynn, Norma, Sarah, Bradley and Brayden; and his great great grandchild Booker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
