It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Louis Scherman (Paola, Kansas), who passed away on January 1, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Scherman and Mary Scherman (Miller); and his son John Marion. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Joan Scherman of Garden City, KS, Jane Pretz (Steve) of Westwood Hills, KS and Jean Sims of Paola; his sister Ethel Thompson; his grandchildren, Luke Pretz, Bridgette Pretz Mattern (Jeffrey), Sarah Pretz, Katarina Pretz Basler (Brett), Blake Sims, Clayton Sims, John Brigham Scherman, Flint Scherman and Briar Scherman; and his great grandchild Lucy Mattern.
