It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert G. Fuhrman of Paola, Kansas, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Fuhrman and Lavena Fuhrman; and his grandson Owen Slinker. He is survived by: his siblings, Erika, Patti McCuen, Suse Stout and Dennis Fuhrman; his brother-in-law Speed Stout; and his daughters, Erika Slinker, Cassie Turner, Kim Knudson and Tammy Hennings. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and close friends.
Service A burial service will be held on Friday, April 23 at 10 a. m. at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048 (Covid restrictions are in place.) A reception/gathering for friends and family will be held following the service at the residence of Brad and Jan Smith.
Memorial Contributions. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care.
