He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Shappell. He is survived by: his wife Madeline Moore; his children, Mary Lynne Driver (Edward) of Lander, Scott Shappell (Matt Fineout) of Paola and Jim Shappell (Sarah) of Gardner; his sisters, Wilma Russell (Dale) of Golden and Kaye Ferguson of Englewood, Colorado; his grandchildren, Ali Shappell, Kyla Shappell, Ariana Cabanas and Jessie Driver; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Mia and Ezekiel Cabanas. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
